Bronson Holding Second Round Superintendent Interviews
By: Mike Stiles - Tuesday, December 10, 2019

(BRONSON) – The Bronson Board of Education will be holding second round interviews today with three candidates for their Superintendent position.

The finalists are Jessica Bucklin, the School Improvements, Curriculum and Behavior Consultant with the Jackson County ISD; Steve Wilson, the Superintendent of Constantine Public Schools and Suzanne Kavanaugh, the K-12 Principal of the Pontiac School District.

The three candidates will be available for a Meet And Greet at 4 PM today in the Bronson High School Media Center. The interviews will start at 5 PM with Kavanaugh, followed by Bucklin at 6 PM and then Wilson at 7 PM. It's hoped that after these interviews, the Board of Education will deliberate and select one candidate to begin negotiations with.

These interviews are open to the public.

The Michigan Association Of School Boards is helping Bronson with the search process. The Board would like to have a new Superintendent assume their duties on January 2.
