Over 200 New Cases Of COVID-19 Reported In Indiana

(INDIANAPOLIS) – More new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Hoosier State.

According to information released Monday morning by the Indiana State Department of Health, there were 1,786 cases of coronavirus statewide. That's an increase of 272 cases since Sunday. There were also three more deaths from coronavirus, bringing the total to 35.

In Northeast Indiana, LaGrange County is still reporting just 2 cases of coronavirus. Noble County has 2 cases, while there is 1 case in Steuben County, 1 case in DeKalb County, 12 cases in Elkhart County and 28 cases in Allen County with 1 death reported.

The State Department of Health reminds people to stay home and only go out for essential items, such as food and medicine and for doctor's appointments that are deemed necessary. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water; drink plenty of water and continue to practice social distancing.
