(BRONSON TOWNSHIP) – Authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed in a crash on June 18 west of Bronson.

Michigan State Police say the victim is 38 year old Michelle Fullington of Coldwater. She had stopped at Deer Park Road just after 5 PM on June 18 and was turning onto U.S. 12 when she was struck by another automobile. Fullington was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another individual had to be removed from the other vehicle by the Bronson Fire Department. That person was flown from the scene to an area hospital by West Michigan Air Care.

Also assisting at the scene was the Bronson Police Department, the Branch County Sheriff's Department and the Branch County Road Commission.

No other information about the crash has been released.
