Ashley-Hudson Has New Deputy Marshal

(ASHLEY) – The Ashley-Hudson Police Department has a new officer.
Department officials say Austin Hall has been hired to fill their vacant Deputy Marshal position. Hall is a 2014 Fremont High School graduate and has served in the National Guard since 2014.
Prior to being hired by the Ashley-Hudson Police, Hall was been employed at the DeKalb County Jail since 2016. He was promoted to Sergeant in 2019. Hall has also served the Town of Butler as a reserve officer.
Hall started his field training on Monday. He will attend the 15 week basic police academy at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy at a time yet to be determine.
