(LANSING) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer says she is still not sure when some businesses will be allowed to open.

Whitmer says because of the aggressive measures that were taken early on, Michigan is doing better now than some other states. ...... {LISTEN}.

Whitmer shared that Michigan is currently 7th in the nation for having their economy back on track. The state is at 87 percent of where it was in early March. But she cautioned residents need to continue following safety steps to make sure there is no regression.
