(NEWBURY TOWNSHIP) – An Angola woman is being held on multiple charges following a traffic stop.

The LaGrange County Sheriff's Office stopped a vehicle just after 10:30 Monday night at 1000 West State Road 20. During the course of the stop, deputies determined that the driver, 33 year old Kerri Ann Rugg of Angola, was in possession of numerous illegal items.

Rugg was arrested and taken to the LaGrange County Jail on charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia and driving while suspended.

The information has been forwarded to the LaGrange County Prosecutor's Office for review.
