(BRUSHY PRAIRIE) – Another long time Northeast Indiana festival won't be happening in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Officials with the Prairie Heights FFA announced that the Heritage Festival normally scheduled for October at Prairie Heights Community Schools has been canceled. In a notice released by Ron Noll and Ben Leu of the Prairie Heights Agriculture Department, the decision to cancel the Farm Festival was made in agreement with the Agriculture Department, the School Board and the LaGrange County Health Department.

The festival will return in 2021, which is scheduled to take place on October 10.
