Middlebury Woman Injured In Collision

(CLINTON TOWNSHIP) – One person received minor injuries in a two vehicle collision.

The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office says 22 year old Michael Miller of Shipshewana was driving east on County Road 32 at County Road 43 in Clinton Township at 4:10 PM Monday.

A northbound vehicle, driven by 24 year old Marissa Bontrager of Middlebury was on County Road 43 and stopped at the intersection of County Road 32. Bontrager proceeded into the intersection, failing to yield the right of way to Miller and struck his vehicle. Miller went off the north side of the road and collided with a fence.

Bontrager was given a citation for failure to yield the right of way. She was also treated at the scene for shoulder pain. Miller was not injured.
