(KENDALLVILLE) – Indiana State Police are asking for the public's help as they investigate a break in and theft from a Kendallville business.

Troopers say the crime happened at Bodigon Auto Sales, located at 1320 West North Street. Security cameras revealed that during the early morning hours on November 19, an unidentified man attempted to gain entry into the office building. The suspect then got into a 1990 Chevrolet Corvette and tried to hotwire the vehicle's ignition system.

Videos then show the suspect loading a large black subwoofer speaker box and several other items into a yellow, 1996 Club Cart golf cart that belonged to the business, then drive away. The golf cart is gas operated, has a yellow canopy roof, chrome wheels and a white colored rear bench seat.

The suspect has a thin build. He was wearing an orange hoodie, blue gloves, blue jeans along with white and black running shoes.

If anyone has information on this individual, or the location of the stolen items, they are asked to call Master Trooper Steve Malone at 260-432-8661.
