MSP Investigating Damage Complaints

(UNDATED) – Michigan State Police are investigating two complaints of property damage resulting from crashes.

The first incident happened at approximately 2 PM on December 6 near M-66 and Tyler Road in Colon Township. The suspect vehicle was heading south, left the roadway and struck a mailbox, they fled the scene.

Evidence left at the scene indicates the suspect vehicle is a 2016 to 2019 model Nissan Titan pick up with chrome accents and minor damage to the fog light on the driver's side.

The second incident happened on December 16 between 4 AM and 4 PM near M-66 and Wait Road in Sherman Township. The suspect vehicle this time went off the road, entered a nearby yard and struck a porch attached to the residence. Investigators say the vehicle was a silver 2004 to 2009 model Toyota Prius Hybrid with front end damage and a missing front bumper.
