(WHITE PIGEON) – Due to a staff member testing positive for COVID-19, the White Pigeon Township Library will be closed to the public until January 4, 2021.

Library Director Perri Saunders says the staff member last worked in the library on the afternoon of December 22. Patrons who visited the library during that time are advised to monitor their health for any symptoms of COVID-19.

Because of the heightened safety and cleaning procedures that take place at the library, Saunders says the risk of a patron contracting the virus from staff is assumed to be extremely low. At the same time, Saunders says they want the public to be aware of the situation and to be assured that the safety of patrons and staff is among their highest priorities.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the library by calling 269-483-7409. Messages will be checked periodically.
