Bronson sends two girls to D-3 State CC Finals

(JACKSON) – The Bronson girls cross country team will be represented at the Division 3 State Finals. During Friday’s Regional meet at Ella Sharp Park, the Lady Vikings finished fourth and Quincy was tenth. Jackson Lumen Christi won the Regional title and Jonesville was third. Individually, Bronson’s Ava Hathaway was third in a new school record time of 18:35 while teammate Ashlyn Harris was fifth (19:47), while Lainey Yearling of Quincy was 11th (21:03). All three have advanced to the State Finals. In the boys race, Jackson Lumen Christi finished first, Jonesville was third, Quincy was sixth and Bronson was ninth. Individually, Quincy’s Chase Jensen finished 21st (17:33) and advances to the Division 3 State Finals. Teammate Carter Feltner was 26th (17:44) while Bronson’s Adam Franks finished 30th (17:49) and Tyler Wilber was 41st (18:44).
