(BYRON CENTER) – The season came to an end for the Sturgis girls tennis team, as they tied for sixth with Holland and Zeeland West at their Division 2 Regional, hosted by Byron Center. Each team had 7 points on the day. Mya Eicher of Sturgis made it to the semifinals at Fourth Singles before being defeated. The Fourth Doubles team of Lilly Whitehead and Hannah Ritchie also advanced to the semifinals before being knocked out of the tournament. Mattawan won the Regional Title.
