(STURGIS) - A bomb threat called in Monday morning turned out to be a hoax.
Swick Broadcasting was contacted at 10:45 AM Monday by an employee of the Sturgis Wal Mart Store, saying the store was closed due to a bomb threat that was called in. We reached out to the Sturgis Department of Public Safety who confirmed the call had been made and that an investigation was underway.
After a search of the building the store was opened to the public.
