(JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP) - A one vehicle crash in Southern Michigan took the life of a Northern Indiana man.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says at 4:45 PM Wednesday, deputies responded to a single vehicle crash in Jefferson Township.
The investigation determined that 66 year old Todd Willingham of Mishawaka was driving south on Oil City Road, south of M-62 when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Willingham was pronounced dead at the scene.
Assisting deputies were the Michigan State Police, the SMCAS Ambulance Service and the Cass Central Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
