(BRONSON) - The Bronson baseball team earned a split of their Big 8 double header with visiting Union City. The Vikings lost game one 9-0 and then won game two 11-6 in 6 innings. Joe Fair had the lone Bronson hit in game one as the Chargers through a shutout. In game two the Vikings erupted for 6 runs in the second innings. Fair got the pitching win going 4 1/3 innings and giving up 6 hits. Warner Wotta and Collin Webb each hit solo home runs and Rylan Finchem had a 3 run double. Bronson is now 6-2 on the season overall and 2-2 in the Big 8.
