Mendon softball tops Athens 16-1

(MENDON) - The host Mendon softball team topped Athens 16-1 in an SCAA contest. Rowen Allen got the pitching win, going 4 inning, giving up 1 hit and one run with 3 walks and 8 strikeouts. At the plate Allen Sabrina Monroy, LaShell Blair, Emma Williams and Kinsley Zinsmaster each drove in 2 runs. Mendon has now won 14 straight games and is 14-1 on the season.
