(MARCELLUS) - The Mendon softball team won a sixth straight Division Title as the No. 1 Hornets beat White Pigeon 14-0 and then host Marcellus 11-1 in the Championship game. Rowan Allen was the winning pitcher in both games, giving up a total of 3 hits and striking out 22 batters. Taya Bingaman led the way with 5 RBI. Ceinna Nightingale had 4 RBI and LaShell Blair had 3 RBI. Mendon is now 27-3 and will host their Regional. Mendon will take on Bridgman, who beat host Decatur in their District title game 17-7 in 5 innings.
