NE Indiana Reporting 49 New Cases Of Coronavirus

(INDIANAPOLIS) – There were two more deaths and 49 new cases of coronavirus as of Monday afternoon in Northeast Indiana.

The Indiana State Department of Health says there was another death in LaGrange County. Six people in the county have now died from coronavirus. In addition, 19 new cases of the virus were reported, which makes 396 people who have tested positive.

Noble County has 7 new cases of COVID-19. That means 374 people have the virus and 27 people have died from it. Steuben County has 1 new case, bringing the number of people who have the virus to 110 and there have been 2 deaths.

DeKalb County is reporting a death from coronavirus. 4 people have now died from the virus. There were no new cases, which means 139 individuals have the coronavirus. Elkhart County is reporting 22 new cases. There are now 2,625 people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and there have been 38 deaths.

Statewide there were 277 new cases of COVID-19. That makes 42,633 people who have tested positive. There were 13 more deaths. There are now 2,363 people who have died from COVID-19.

The State Department of Health also says as of Monday, 418,916 Hoosiers have been tested for coronavirus, with 10.2 percent coming back as positive.
