(UNDATED) – Two people were arrested following a multi county chase through Northeast Indiana Tuesday afternoon.

At approximately 3 PM, Indiana State Police from the Bremen Post attempted to stop a black Toyota Camry that was occupied by a fugitive out of Fulton County and another individual. The Camry fled from troopers going from Kosciusko County north towards Elkhart County, then going down to Lake Wawasee and into Noble County.

From there, they led police towards Churubusco at speeds of up to 100 MPH. They were also throwing bags of items out the windows along with a handgun. All of the items were recovered.

The suspect then went east and entered DeKalb County towards Auburn. A DeKalb County Sheriff's Deputy put down stop sticks, deflating at least one tire on the Camry. While in Auburn, the suspect vehicle ran off the road, through a fence behind the Auburn-Cord-Dusenberg Museum property, then came back on the road and headed south into Allen County.

The vehicle went off of Tonkel Road and into a ditch where it overturned on its side.

Officers arrested 40 year old Ricky Johnson of Warsaw and 37 year old Angela Rogers of Rochester. A third occupant was trapped in the vehicle and removed, and also taken into custody. All three were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center. The third suspect was later released without being charged.

Johnson is facing felony charges of resisting law enforcement, possession of a hypodermic syringe and possession of a handgun by a serious felon, and a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving.

Rogers is charged with felony counts of possession of a hypodermic syringe and a warrant hold for Fulton County on an assault charge.

Troopers were assisted by law enforcement agencies from Kosciusko, Noble, DeKalb and Allen Counties, along with the Fort Wayne Fire Department.
