(THREE RIVERS) – A suspect has been arrested and charged in a fatal stabbing.

The Three Rivers Police Department says in a media release they were
called to Fourth Avenue near Wood Street on May 5 at 11:49 PM after receiving a report of people screaming. Officers arrived and discovered that 61 year old Ervan Taylor had been stabbed.

Taylor was flown to an area hospital, but later died.

Officers located and arrested 46 year old Michael Taylor on a charge of open murder. He is being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
