Colon girls get win at Jackson Christian 38-29
(JACKSON) – It was a good road trip for the Colon girls basketball team, who started flat but settled into a defensive tone as they beat host Jackson Christian 38-29. Reese Williams led the way for the Lady Magi with 22 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. Macey Burgess added 8 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals while Megann Mullins and Raegan Thaxton each had 3 points. Colon starts the season 1-0.
