(STURGIS) – The Sturgis boys swim team dropped a home meet to Coldwater 93-81. The Trojans won 5 of the 12 events and had several first places on the night. Dalton Tisdel was first in the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle. Riley Bowers won the 100 butterfly while Tisdel, Gavan Miller, EJ Miller and Aidan Owsley took first in the 200 freestyle relay. The 400 freestyle relay team of Riley Bowers. Aiden Owsley, Ethan Oswalt and Hunter Diethrich also came in first. The Coldwater 200 medley relay team of Cooper Otto, Drake Thornton, Lucas Wischmeyer and Ian Stough took first place. Otto was also first in the 200 IM while Wischmeyer won the 100 backstroke and Thornton was first in the 100 breaststroke. Taylor Eberts was first in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle. Sam Pernia was first in diving.
