White Pigeon baseball goes 2-2 at Colon Darmofal Tournament

(COLON) – The White Pigeon baseball team went 2-2 at the Colon Darmofal Tournament. The Chiefs lost to Union City 8-2 in Game One, beat host Colon 13-0 in Game Two, beat Union City 10-8 in Game Three and then fell to Union City 19-3 in the Championship Game. In the win against Colon, Brody Block threw a complete game, no hitter, which is is second of the season, and had 10 strikeouts. Block also pitched two innings in relief in Game Three to get the win. At the plate, Clayton Grandstaff and Bristol Ultz each had 4 hits for White Pigeon.
