(COLDWATER) - Multiple charges have been filed against a Lansing man following an investigation into criminal sexual conduct.

Branch County District Court officials say 49 year old Gregory Wines is charged with two counts of third degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of accosting children for immoral purposes.

Court officials say on January 3, a 15 year old girl reportedly met Wines after chatting with him through a dating app. Wines who through the app claimed to be a different age, allegedly picked up the girl early in the morning and then drove her around before taking her to a trailer in the Trail Tree Village Trailer Park in Coldwater where he supposedly engaged in sexual activities with the girl.

The Battle Creek Police referred the matter to the Coldwater Police Department who conducted a forensic interview with the victim. She detailed how she informed Wines about her age, said she was reluctant to have any sexual activity, they had sex anyway. The girl says that she and Wines went to Wal-Mart and purchased the Plan B emergency contraceptive pill.

Police say surveillance video from the store and tracking Wines' vehicle corroborate that information.

Officers conducted an undercover operation on the same dating app. They say Wines allegedly contacted the decoy profile, posing as a 15 year old and expressed interest in underage girls and also requested photos.

During his arraignment it was discovered that in 1994 Wines was convicted for felony murder, armed robbery and kidnapping in Kent County.

Wines' bond was set at $500,000. If he is able to make bond, Wines is ordered to have no contact with the victim or any minors. He is also ordered to not use any devices that connect to the internet.

A probable cause examination is scheduled for February 3 at 9 AM with the Preliminary Examination set for February 10 at 2:30 PM.
