(COLON) - In their final game of the regular season, the Colon girls basketball team beat Litchfield 61-23. Coach Beth Preston says it was a good win for her team heading into the tournament next. She says the team turned up the defense and used the press to get some layups in transition. Raegan Thaxton led Colon with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Lily Preston had 15 points and Madi Kulpinski added 14 points. Braelyn Thaxton had 7 points, 7 assists and 5 steals. Colon ends the regular season with a record of 10-12.
