(COLDWATER) - Two people arrested following a Bronson Township drug investigation have been arraigned.

Branch County District Court officials say 52 year old Rodney Ferguson of Bronson is charged with delivery and manufacture of methamphetamine, possession of meth, possession of narcotics and maintaining a drug house.

Due to Ferguson's criminal history which includes prior felony convictions in Florida and Kentucky, he is being charged as a fourth-offense habitual offender.

In addition, 32 year old Starr Overton of Three Rivers is charged with possession of meth.

The Branch County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant on March 27 at a residence in the 900 block of Weaver Road following an investigation that lasted several months.

During a search of the house, officers found 274 grams of meth in a gallon size bag, a baggie with residue, a pipe of residue along with a container of meth, scales, $600 in cash along with a ledger showing drug sales, ID cards and surveillance cameras.

Ferguson's bond was set at $100,000. If he is able to post a bond, Ferguson is prohibited from leaving Michigan without court permission and he must submit to random drug testing.

Ferguson is scheduled to have a pre-trial conference on April 7 and a preliminary examination on April 14.
