$25,000 Raised: Power of the Purse Delivers Big for Steuben County

(STEUBEN COUNTY) - More than 130 people packed the Steuben County Event Center earlier this month for the annual Power of the Purse fundraiser -- and the community delivered in a big way. The November 6th event raised $25,000 to support local programs through Crossroads United Way and the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. Guests enjoyed lunch, purse raffles, and plenty of networking, all to fund initiatives that boost youth opportunities, community health, financial stability, and local resiliency. This year's fundraiser was especially meaningful following Steuben County's July 1st merger with Crossroads United Way.
