(STURGIS) - Despite the weather on Sunday, several people attended a memorial event for a missing woman.
The memorial was for Brittany Wallace, who was 23 years old when she went missing on November 30, 2018. The event was put on by her father and community members who support the family and law enforcement as they continue to investigate what happened to her.
Brittany's father Greg Wallace says he's overwhelmed by the people in the community, such as Jackie and George Milliman, who are involved in keeping everyone aware of what happened to his daughter and the search for her.
St. Joseph County Sheriff Chad Spence was originally assigned to the case and says the collaboration between law enforcement agencies along with community input has help the investigation. (LISTEN ABOVE).
Spence says he feels confident that they will discover what happened to Brittany.
