(MANTON) - The Centreville girls track team finished 8tha and the boys 14tha in the ITCA Division 3 Track Team State Meet. In the girls events, Lena Reed finished sixth in the shot put. Berkley Shingledecker was seventh in the 800 meters while Lean Roberts tied for seventh in the high jump. The 3200 meter relay team finished fifth and the 400 meter relay team was sixth. For the boys, Matthew Bates was first in the shot put and set a new school record with a throw of 55'6.25". Bates was also first in the discus. Will Hulin took first place in the 1600 meters and the 3200 meters. Deandre Stout was sixth in the 100 meters and 10tha in the 200 meters while Brayden Swanwick was sixth in the high jump. The 400 meter relay team finished seventh while the 1600 meter relay team and the 3200 meter relay team both finished eighth.
