(STURGIS) - Jamie Eymer has announced she is stepping down as the Executive Director of the Sturges-Young Center For The Arts.
In a letter submitted to the City of Sturgis and the Center For The Arts Board, Eymer announced that her final day as Executive Director will be August 25.
While no reason was given as to her resignation, Eymer says the decision was not made lightly. She says she is grateful for the opportunity to have served the organization and the community. Eymer says she has appreciated the chance to work alongside her dedicated staff, who she will miss dearly, along with the volunteers and community partners to advance the Center For The Arts mission.
Eymer says over the coming weeks she is committed to ensuring a smooth transition. She says she will complete ongoing projects where possible, organize important files and information, and assist with transferring responsibilities to support the organization during this change.
