(JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP) - A juvenile prowler was taken into custody over the weekend.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says at 2 PM Sunday his deputies responded to a report of a masked and armed prowler in the area of Dailey Road and Pine Lake Street in Jefferson Township. A resident stated the suspect was trying to break into a home.
Deputies found the suspect, who raised a firearm and pointed it at them. A deputy shot at the suspect who dropped his firearm and ran away. He was found a few minutes later and threatened deputies with knives.
The suspect was tased and then taken into custody. He was lodged into a juvenile facility.
