(CENTREVILLE) - The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Office is looking to get a new vehicle for their fleet.
During Tuesday's St. Joseph County Board of Commissioners Executive Committee meeting, Sheriff Chad Spence shared that they are wanting to get an administrative vehicle.
Spence says they are requesting to purchase a Chevy Traverse due to the aging vehicles in the fleet. .
The cost of the vehicle will be $48,500. That includes the outfitting that is needed to make it ready to be on the road.
The County Commission agreed to put the item on the agenda for the regular Board meeting on August 18.
