(INDIANAPOLIS) - Unemployment went down around Northeast Indiana during the month of August.
According to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, LaGrange County saw a drop in their unemployment from 3.5% in July to 3.4% in August.
Steuben County remained at 3.4%. Noble County went from 3.7% to 3.4%, while Elkhart County saw a drop in their unemployment from 4.1% to 3.8%.
DeKalb County saw their unemployment go from 3.3% to 3.2%.
The City of Goshen had the biggest drop in unemployment, going from 4.9% to 4.2%. The City of Elkhart went from 4.3% to 4.2% while Fort Wayne saw a slight increase from 3.4% to 3.5%.
