(CONSTANTINE) - The Village of Constantine's boil water advisory has been lifted.
Village officials say required water testing has been completed. Residents and businesses may now resume normal use of Village water.
The water main break at 1020 South Washington Street, first identified on Sunday, September 27, resulted in a Village wide water system shutdown on Monday while repairs were completed.
Following restoration of the water service, the boil water advisory remained in effect while the required rounds of water quality testing were conducted.
Testing is now complete, and the boil water advisory is no longer in effect.
Village officials want to thank Constantine residents and businesses for your patience and cooperation throughout the repair and testing process. They also appreciate the work of the crews and emergency personnel who responded and worked to restore service quickly.
