(HOWARD TOWNSHIP) - A two vehicle crash sent one of the drivers to the hospital.
Cass County Sheriff Clint Roach says at 6:52 PM Wednesday, his deputies were called to a two vehicle crash on Detroit Road near Dodge Court in Howard Township.
Deputies say that 62 year old Dallas Dunn of Chicago was driving north on Detroit Road when he crossed the centerline in poor visibility. His vehicle struck a southbound auto driven by 42 year old Lance Butcher of Cassopolis.
Dunn was transported by the SMCAS Ambulance Service to Corewell Lakeland Niles Hospital to be treated for the injuries he sustained in the crash.
Also assisting at the scene was the Howard Township Fire Department.
The crash remains under investigation.
