(MENDON) - The host Mendon boys basketball team beat Galesburg-Augusta 60-58 in the Championship game of the Mendon Holiday Tournament. Head Coach Matt Gorham says his team showed excellent effort and poise in the win, and are continuing to build and grow together. Ryder Gorham led the Hornets with 22 points, 9 assists, and 3 steals. Owen Gorham had 14 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals while Dante Goto had 12 points, 7 rebounds, 3 blocks and 2 steals. Ryder Gorham was named the Tournament MVP as Mendon improves to 8-0 on the season. In the Consolation Game, Martin topped Marcellus 42-37.
