County Commission Hears Juvenile Division Family Court Annual Report

(CENTREVILLE) – The work continues on for the Juvenile Division of St. Joseph County Family Court.

During their meeting Tuesday, the St. Joseph County Commission heard the Juvenile Division’s annual report for 2024. Judge Kevin Kane shares the case load for 2024 in the court. ...... {LISTEN}.

Kane says they hope to hear soon if the Juvenile Division will be getting some grants they applied for, which will be used to start at Family Treatment Court. Kane explains what that will be. ...... {LISTEN}.

Kane also shared with the Commission that St. Joseph County is still seeing mental health issues with children ages 10 to 13. He says it’s something they are monitoring and working to help eliminate.
