(QUINCY) – The Sturgis girls soccer team won the Quincy Classic Invitational. The Lady Trojans beat host Quincy 1-0 in a penalty shootout. Macy Hopkins scored the winning penalty kick. Then Sturgis beat Parchment 3-1. Scoring for the Lady Trojans in the second match were Andrea Martinez who had a goal and an assist. Carolina Garcia and Evelyn Mendez also scored goals with Hopkins and Abbie Hughes getting assists. Sturgis is now 5-8 1 on the season.
