(NEWBERG TOWNSHIP) – A Chicago woman was injured in a two vehicle crash in Southwest Michigan.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was called to M-60, just east of the intersection of Woodlake Road in Newberg Township at 8:45 AM August 8. Deputies say 44 year old Nora Gill of Chicago was driving east on M-60, while 19 year old Logan King of Plainwell was heading west. King failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning south and crashed into Gill’s vehicle.

Gill was taken to Beacon Health Three Rivers Hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Assisting deputies at the scene were the Newberg Township Fire Department and the Newberg Township EMS.

The crash is still under investigation.
