Bicyclist Injured After Being Struck By Automobile

(ELKHART COUNTY) – A collision between a bicycle and an automobile sent a man to the hospital with minor injuries.

The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened around 8:15 AM Sunday on County Road 18 west of County Road 13.

Investigators say an Elkhart man was driving his vehicle west on County Road 18 when he improperly passed a 38 year old Goshen man who was riding a bicycle, and the vehicle hit the back of the bike.

The bicyclist was taken to the hospital to receive treatment for his injuries.
