                (CHARLOTTE) - THe number 8 ranked Trine University women's cross country team captured its first-ever MIAA Conference championship on November 1, at Broadway Acres Golf Course in Charlotte, Michigan. The Thunder dominated the meet with a score of 22 points. Sidney Swick led the Thunder by winning the individual title in 21:07.9 and being named the MIAA Most Valuable Runner.
The team's success was powered by placing five runners in the top seven, securing a 33-point victory over runner-up Hope College.
