

(ANGOLA) - The Angola Marching Hornets are state-bound for the 5th year in a row. Angola will compete at the 2025 Indiana State Marching Band Competition at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis this Saturday, Nov. 8th. The event features the top high school bands in the state, which have advanced through regional and semi-state competitions. Other area bands who qualified for Class C State Finals include: Garrett, Fairfield, and Leo.
On Thursday, November 6th, the Angola Marching Band will host a community performance at the high school stadium. At 5:30 p.m., pulled pork dinners will be offered for $10. Entry to watch the band perform its "Beyond the Horizon" show is free and begins at 6:30. Donations are welcome, and 100-percent of the proceeds go to the Angola Marching Band.
