(SHIPSHEWANA) – A Northeast Indiana law enforcement officer is the focus of an investigation.
Indiana State Police say they are investigating Shipshewana Town Marshal Carlos Jasso, who has been suspended since August.
No further details are being released as to why Jasso has been suspended or what the investigation is about.
The Shipshewana Town Council says they will review the finding of the investigation before making any decision about Jasso’s future or any public statements.
Jasso was hired to be Shipshewana Town Marshal in January 2023, after former Town Marshal Tom Fitch stepped down after 23 years on the job.
