(CENTREVILLE) – A part-time instructor had been awarded for their teaching efforts.

Glen Oaks Community College is proud to announce the winner of the 2025 Part-Time Faculty Teaching Excellence Award is Erin Goff. This award is presented annually to a part-time faculty member or adjunct who demonstrates excellence in teaching and who reflects the value of education to students.

Goff is a part-time criminal justice instructor, and has made a lasting impact on both her students and colleagues through her engaging instruction and leadership. Goff has taught a range of courses, including Introduction to Corrections; Prevention of Crime and Juvenile Delinquency; Criminology, and Public Service Administration.

Beyond the classroom, Goff played a key role in helping Glen Oaks redesign its Emergency Operations Plan and led safety training sessions for faculty and staff. Her real-world expertise created a supportive and informative environment for emergency preparedness.
