
Angel Johnston Elected Three Rivers Mayor

(THREE RIVERS) – Three Rivers has a new Mayor.
On Tuesday voters elected Angel Johnston to be Mayor with 784 votes. Incumbent Mayor Thomas Lowry received 427 votes and write in candidate Nathan Walden collected 18 votes.
Voters also re-elected incumbent First District Commissioner Pat Dane with 876 votes. There were also 45 write in votes. Incumbent At Large Commissioner Torrey Brown was also re-elected with 903 votes compared to 46 write in votes.
Both Dane and Brown ran unopposed.
Write in candidate Anthony Stanfill was elected to represent the Third District receiving 121 votes. He was the lone candidate for the position.
